Whitby Brass Band Assistant Bandmaster
Lindsi Gawley
Lindsi grew up playing the cornet, and has been with the Whitby Brass Band since 2005. A flugelhorn player at heart, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education from York University.
Lindsi has a vast musical background, ranging from military bands to orchestral work. She has thoroughly enjoyed all of the experiences her music has provided her, however her favourite place to play by far is the Whitby Brass Band.
She is grateful for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group of musicians, and is honoured to be able to conduct the band she grew up in.
